Dear Brieanna,

It's been a while since I've written, but you've been on my mind much of the time.  I ran into your Uncle Tom at a business event I was attending.  I talked to him afterwards to find out if he had any knowledge of you.  He told me that your mother had cut off all contact with the family and that he hadn't talked to her in over 5 years.  The last time was when your grandfather Tom died. He said that he tried to convince your mother to come out and attend the funeral, and was disappointed that she wouldn't come, or at least send you. I told him that if he ever has contact with you in the future to tell you that you have a father here that misses you, and loves you, and would do anything for you.  He told me that this is a tragedy for everyone.  As I talked to him, I had trouble holding back the tears.  I miss you so much, and worry about you.

As for me all is well.  I picked up a new hobby, welding.  I welded a fire pit which we've used several times, and I also made a mail box pole, that looks really good.  I'm reading a book called the "Black Swan", which is quite good.  Your brothers and sisters are getting so big.  Asher will be a teenager soon.  You only know him as a toddler.

Brieanna, I worry about you all the time.  You are in thoughts and prayers.  May God reunite us.

Love,

Dad.
